	Hi trout There is only one switch on the control panel and this switch has three buttons. The problem is the "start" button got stuck. In order to fix it this push button switch has to be replaced. - The part number for the white switch AP2984144 - The part number for the black switch AP3020714 - Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool trash compactor Model TC900QPDQ1 Good luck.
