I haven't heard good things on LG service or parts (after I buy of course) The drum turns freely by hand so I figure it's something with the motor just can't get to it. If I do ever get to it, sounds like parts acquisition is gonna be tough

Hello Mr. Tudman,

Its sounds like there is a problem with the motor if it is making a humming noise or has to be pushed to get it started. You might also check to be sure nothing is binding.
I tried to find a breakdown on your model but had no luck. It is possible due to us not able to get parts for the brand LG.

I have a 1 1/2 year old LG dryer. The motor make alot of noise when running and sometimes humms and won't start. If I spin the drum by hand it will start up but still makes lots of noise. I'de like to try and fix it myself but can't even figure out how to get to the motor to look at it. Any help would be appreciated.
