That happened to me and I had to take the cover off and pop out the plastic receptacle and it was easy after that. I couldn't get the remnant of the bulb out any other way

Thanks for yor reply. The cramped space does not allow me to use needle nosed pliars.

Unplug the machine. Use a needle nosed plier to grasp what remains of the bulb and remove it.

I have a Frigidaire refrigerator/freezer (side-by-side) Model FRS6LR5EM6 with ice and water dispenser. The burned out light bulb for the water dispenser broke during removal. How do I remove the broken bulb so that I can replace ir?
