According to the tech sheets I found for a similar model, the first failure suspect is the door switch. - The part number for the door switch is AP3039128 Gene.

Hello, thanks for the response took bottom panel off and no paperwork found anywhere, I don't know if this dishwasher was fixed or attempted to be fixed before.

Remove the bottom panel and look for a pouch with the tech sheets. Post the results.

Hello, I have a Kenmore elite dishwasher, approx 4-5 yrs old. We were running it and it stopped at the near end of drain cycle. When we turn on all led lights seem to work, can change from one cycle to another but nothing comes on the display screen has to steady dashes on it but nothing else. Is there a reset for the control panel or some sort of diagnostic mode we can put the dishwasher into to see what might be problem?
