The best way for you is to wait for a Sears technician. It could be something not very simple.

Gene.

Hello, it would be nice to get some ideas on my problem. I purchased a new Kenmore Elite side by side refrigerator on Friday and installed it today. I already had the ice maker kit from the previous appliance so all was needed was to connect it to the new one. The water dispenser drips water only no stream of water, and it leaks badly and loses water pressure on top of the water filter. Wanting to just get the thing working, I went to the Sears appliance store and purchased a new O ring for the filter cannister and even a new filter, but it still leaks badly. Also no water is making it to the ice maker. Yes the filter cannister is tight. The water pressure seems to be pushing water past the O ring. Is there something different about this ice maker with water pressure or something or is there something I overlooked or something faulty? Just looking for ideas. It has a warranty, but I'd rather not wait 4 days for service. Must be something simple? Thanks.
