MB, Did you have any heat problems before this occurred ? If you had no heating problems, and you find that the element is broken and not shorted out, you will most likely not need a thermal fuse. If you have a test meter or light you can check the fuse for a closed(infinite) circuit. Good Luck, :) :) :)
