Hi jbeenemd

Would you please describe the problem and everything you can see as much specific as possible? What did you mean when you said the "strip"?

Gene.

I have a Maytag Refrigerator/Freezer that was running great up until this morning. This is one of the models with two refrigerator doors on top with a freezer on the bottom. The freezer is still working and making ice, however the refrigerator portion is room temp. One thing that I noticed was that the "strip" between the two refrigerator doors is not just warm but hot! I checked the light and it does go off when the doors shut. (had that happen before on another refrig and was the first thing that I checked)
