	The first thing I would check (for continuity) is the lid switch (#11 on the top parts break down diagram). - New lid switch and step by step instructions on how to replace the lid switch: Part number: AP3100003 Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool washer Model LSR8444LQ0 Gene.

	The motor does not run during agitation. The agitator does not spin, but can be turned by hand. There is a clicking sound in the vicinity of the cycle control knob.

	Did the motor run during the agitation? Did it spin and/or drain? Did it make any noises? More information you posted - more chance to help you better. Gene.

	Agitator does not turn in any of the cycles selected. Accompanied by a "clicking sound" in vicinity of the cycle control knob.
