I took the washer apart.

First checked lid switch with multimeter. first time doing this so not sure I did it correctly but think I did.

Put multimeter on resistance sound setting. put probes in the 2 female slots (Not the green one) of switch. it beeped every time I pushed the switch in and stopped beeping when I stopped pushing switch.

Took water pump out, took hoses out and see that there is no blockage.

Took motor out and saw that Motor Couplings and Rubber piece are fine.

NOW, what else could be wrong?

Thanks

Hello,

For this washer, I've replaced the coupling twice - both times it broke on the motor end. first one in 2018 and then another in 2022.

right now, washer fills with water, but after that nothing other than slight humming that stops after a few seconds and then it is Silent.

is this coupling issue again or something else?

I don't remember the symptoms from last time, wish I'd written them somewhere.
But thought that water should at least drain in rinse and spin cycle.
That is why I was wondering if it is coupling or something else.

Also, there is no continuous buzzing sound to suggest that coupling is broken. I hear a buzzing sound for a few seconds when in spin cycle and it goes away after a few seconds.

Thanks
