I'm about 2/3 of the way through disassembling my Bosch WAP24201UC front loading washing machine, initially under the delusion that the bearings were failing. Now that I have the drum assembly almost ready to extract from the tub assembly and I'm beginning to think that the spider attached to the back of the drum has come loose from the drum; rather than the bearings failing. That is one expensive part (at least $450 before shipping). Is that a common failure for this kind of washing machine?
