I think you have to buy the whole assembly, sorry but that's the way Whirlpool does business. If you have a local repair shop they may be able to sell you a pump out of a scrap machine for just a few bucks. You can then either just replace parts or replace the whole pump, your choice.

My washer had started making rattling noises and not draining, so I figured the impeller had gone or there was something stuck in the pump. I got a SUD error once and a F2 error (SUD happened this morning, F2 was from memory, i could be wrong).

I took the pump off and the impeller is worn through, rattling loose and not clicking as I would expect. Does anyone sell just the pump motor/impeller part that I'm looking for or am I stuck buying the whole pump assembly for $140?
