Okay, so I pulled off the front cover, and the motor doesn't spin at all. Tub fills, then the pump drains it but seems to remain pumping for much longer than it should. I believe it's an older model without an LED to indicate errors. Is there a way to reset the motor as with newer motors? Could it be something small like a fuse or lid trigger issue, or is it likely that the motor is shot?

The other day I was washing a blanket and the lad got unbalanced during the spin and the dryer was moving quite violently. Now, when I run it, it does not appear to agitate or spin.

It fills, sits quietly for a minute or two, makes a lot of noise with no apparent movement. Drains, sits quietly, refills, drains, makes a lot of noise again with no apparent movement. Clothes are soaking wet at the me of the load.

Seems like the motor runs, because of all the noise, but no action.

Any suggestions?
