Your warm is probably not working either, since it is a mixture of hot and cold and you are probably just getting the hot.

You should use a meter to see if you are getting voltage to the cold solenoid. An easy way to do this is to take off the cabinet and switch the connectors on the hot and cold water valve. If in this case you get cold but do not get hot, then the valve assembly is okay and the problem can be in the timer or the water temp selector.

If you don't get cold when you call for hot then the problem is likely with the valve assembly.

I have a Roper washer. The cold is not working. It does hum. Warm and Hot both do work. Thank you.
