Okay Here is your part

Part number: AP3738284
Part number: AP3738284

If this is not what you got, get it

If it is what you got get them to send you another one

If the timer is not the problem then we are looking at possibly the motor, motor switch, transmission and a couple of other things that I don't know.

Ohhh. It's inside the lid...wow

Well, whenever I searched for Whirlpool Ultimate care 2 it always pulled up the piece I ordered.

Upon further inspection, my model number is LSQ9549PW1

Does that use a different piece?

Okay, I am a little confused because if you are not sure of the model number how do you know you gave the right one to APP to order the timer.

The model number should be on the back of the pieces where the lid closes, lift the lid and look straight back and you should see it.

If you are sure you have the right model number and part, call APP and send it back and get a replacement so that you are sure it is not the timer or that you didn't get a bad replacement. Also make sure you have it connected properly.

Let's see what another timer does before proceeding,

Thanks for the reply Sid. I am aware of that awesome return policy...definitely one of the reasons I purchased the part from app.

Model #: LSQ9564J **I think** Where do I find this?

Pics to verify model #

UPDATE: Last night, while fooling around with the timer/washer, I discovered that if I set it to 6/regular on the "delicates" area it will almost complete an entire cycle but then idle and hum when it reaches off...it doesn't spin the clothes to rinse them out.

Setting it to "normal" off starts a cycle and fills the washer with water...I have no idea what it's trying to do.

Hunter

Sorry the new part didn't work out for you. As you may know if you purchased from this site and it ultimately does not fix things you can return it.

If you will post a model number so we can see exactly which machine you have we may be able to offer some ideas.

Thanks

Hello. I've got a whirlpool ultimate care 2 washer/dryer set.

The washer worked fine until a month ago then, then one day:

1. put the washer on "regular 9"
2. water filled up did it's thing
3. **machine would not advance to next cycle**

So, I went ahead and bypassed the lid switch, to verify that it wasn't the culprit...it wasn't. With the switch shorted, I can lift the lid and watch the entire process...but the machine will still not advance to the next cycle.

4. I purchased a new timer board from this site
5. Installed it.
6. Now, the new timer seems to function completely different. turning the dial to "regular 9" either produces a low buzzing noise or nothing at all. Turning the dial to "off" on the "light wash" area starts a cycle!!
7. IF I can get the washer to begin a cycle it fills up, washes, proceeds to rinse for 30 seconds and then stops...an almost totally different problem.

At least with the old timer I could work the machine manually.

What in the world is going on?! Help please!
