If the machine runs but no water then the first thing I would check is the water level switch. Perhaps the contacts in the switch are welded together so the machine thinks it is full.

Also have you tried different water levels and temp settings, this may help troubleshoot the problem.

My Whirlpool washer doesn't fill. You can hear the motor running, but no water. The hoses and filters are clear. Any suggestions? Thanks.
