I have a whirlpool washing machine that will fill with water but will not agitate or spin. I have check the lid switch and wired it together to eliminate the lid. I as so check the capacitor which also checked out good. The timer sounds weird when I pull out the nob. The timer has never made this sound before, it sounds like something is grinding. When I move the timer between the different cycles trying to get it to work, sometimes the motor will humm. This leads me to think the motor is bad. I also removed the water pump from the motor as well. please Help. timer number:3955499 Motor number: 8528157
