Thank you! You were correct. I spliced the 2 wires together and eliminated the switch. Just have to remember not to put my hand in there during the spin cycle.

Hi Ken,

Most likely the problem is a bad lid switch. For more accurate advise we need the complete model number of the washer.

The washer fills and washes ok. Right before it gets to the rinse cycle, it shuts off. No draining,refilling, or spinning. The machine just stops. It will come back on if timer is set at beginning of cycle,but stops running again before it gets to rinse.Any suggestions?
