NPL,

As I understand this, your washer leaks when it is filling with water, in both the wash and rinse cycles ?

That pretty much isolates the area to the water flume, hose and fill valve.

Is the spin tub centerred in the opening ?

You will be better off removing the cabinet, and checking for water marks on the components to determine where the leak is.

In your case(based on what I have for a model number).

On the back of the plastic end cap(s) you should find a phillips head screw in each end cap that secures the control panel to the washer top, remove those screw(s).

Slide the control panel forward, until the tabs unlock from the top and lift and swing the contol panel up and over.

With the panel rolled over, you'll see two large metal spring clips, one on each side. you need to slip a flat blade screwdriver in the front slide opening on the lip of the clip and press down and towards the back of the machine to unclip.

Lean the cabinet back towards you sligtly, and slide the cabinet off the frame a couple of inches, then disconnect the lid switch wire harness, and slide the cabinet off the rest of the way.

You'll have access to all the hoses and components, and can trace the water marks to the leak.

Good Luck,

:) :) :)
