So recently my son (he is the big ice user) noticed we didnt have any ice in our bin. I looked and confirmed there was only a few cubes in what is normally a very efficient operation.

Here is what i did so far. I disconnected power and water. Confirmed all lines were clear. Hooked everything back up. Pressed flapper that is normally held down by ice bin and confirmed red led. LED was lit. Functioned properly if I stuck my hand in front of it to simulate a full bin. I took the two screws off for the cover over the ice machine. No ice stuck in hopper. Arms are at the 10 and 2 position.

Interestingly, after ten minutes the red led is out. The bin is still in place. I pulled bin out, depressed flapper and the led is still out. The only way to make it come back on is too disconnect power and then plug it back in.

Water supply is good and strong. Question is: Is it the sensor assembly or is it the ice maker unit?
