If your temperatures are "normal" near zero for freezer and 40 for fridg section, your only problem is the condensing motor, the one in the back that cools the compressor and condenser.

When you are saying that the fan was spinning too slowly and was replaced, which fan are you referring to?

My GE bottom freezer gets warm (15 degrees) after dinner and when it gets warm in the house. Had a repair man come out and determine that the fan motor was bad, spinning too slowly. He replaced the fan and there was no difference from the old one. Put in a new mother board no difference. Then said to buy a new refrigerator! Last night I opened up the back and used a house fan to cool the rear of the refer, the refer worked fine. Is there any way to get the fans to blow enough air to cool the condenser. which gets very hot. Has my condenser been compromised by running hot for several months? Should I call a different repair man?
