No, there are no fans in this freezer.

It has been about 3 days or so that it has been unpluged. I will move it back into the garage and see what happens. Does this model suppose to have a fan? It does not have one that I can see at least.

I did purchase a used one also and it was freezing when I saw it. Then put into truck, had to lay it down for few seconds to get on, but then put straight up and the same to get it off the truck. It was freezing, but when I went to check on it about 3 hours later, it was totally defrosted. At this point it would not refreeze, even tried to plug into a different plug. I saw the fan running and the black thing was hot by touch. I do not know what the model # is or the brand. Just was wondering in general what it could have been? It was an older model. Thanks so much for your time in this matter.

I will let you know what happens on the other one soon.

Freezer will not freeze. Had it in storage about 2 months. I did put it on its side for about 30 minutes. I know you are not suppose to do it, but only way to get it home. Is there any way to fix that, if that is the problem? It did work fine before putting in storage. Please help me. Thanks
