The correct heater for this is AP2071523, single 115 volt heater with defrost thermostat. You wired in a 58 volt heater that promptly blew out.

Ok so a few months ago I was having trouble with the fridge not defrosting . Did some checking on the internet and ordered a new defrost timer and heater. The timer went in fine but the heater was different as it had two elements instead of one . I took one element out and put it in the old housing then put the frig back together . Heater burned out again ! I can hear the timer running all the time in the fridge and it has gone thought both elements from the new heater !!?????????? Scratching my head .........
