Hi.

The water valve installed in your fridge is not serviceable.

Disconnect the water line from the inlet valve to check if there is water pressure coming to the fridge. Be carefull not to flood the house.

Check if there is a 120VAC at the water valve solenoid when the lever is pressed.

Please, post the results.

Simon.

Is there a screen on the water supply inlet of the water supply valve that may get clogged and prevent water flow after the solinoid is activated? My outdoor water meter was replaced by the utility company and immediately thereafter the water dispenser in the refrigerator door and the icemaker ceased working. I suspect that dirt entered the system during the change out of the meter and migrated to the water supply valve and clogged or caused a failure of the valve?
