I assumed the compressor was running, it should be warm and the condenser coils warm. If you remove the freezer back panel and see little frost, that would confirm a bad compressor/refrigerant leak, usually terminal.

Look in the back if the condensing fan is turning. If ok and the condenser behind the front kick panel is not clogged, you probably have a bad compressor.

Freezer is about 20 degrees, frig in the 50's....The frig cycles threw the defrost stage and it does defrost..Heater, thermostat working..All the fans work but its not cold enough....Whats next...Freon...??
