Here are your parts
Replacement parts for KENMORE 1068698210 | AppliancePartsPros.com

Find out if the compressor is running and is it cycling on/off.
You can usually hear them when they are on also you should be able to feel ie vibrating and it should be warm.

If it is cycling it is probably a thermostat problem.

Since it is cooling some I doubt it is always off.

If it is always on, remove the rear cover in the freezer so you can see the coils.

If they are heavily iced/frosted over you have a defrost problem.
It could be the timer, the heater or the defrost thermostat.
Get back to us for how to check these.

If there is only frost in one area (usually where the freon enters the coils) you are low on freon. This will be an expensive repair and usually it makes more sense to replace the unit.
Note: That this is a sealed system problem so check your warranty as the sealed system often has a warranty longer than one year.
