Ok, it was the thermostat... It would work sometimes and sometimes shut off. Replaced that and it was fine.

I need help... I have a kitchenette purchased from Intra, which should be Swedish. In this there is a fridge with model no. CP 101 MI/B. The label inside the refrigerator says "made in italy" but no manufacturer name can be seen.

My tennant has had problems for a while, mostly with the freezer compartment getting warm so she stopped using that some time ago. Problems with the fridge have gradually gotten worse as it will sometimes heat up and wreck the food inside. Now maybe once or twice a week. I should be able to get an electrician to look at it but the fridge does not come out by itself so we need to take away all the pipes and drains and shut the water off, then cut away the silicone from the edges of the kitchenette to pull it out... Therefore it would be good to know beforehand what it MIGHT be so we could maybe make sure to have the parts at home if anything needs replacing.

Do you recognize this problem? I googled and somebody mentioned the defrost timer could be faulty. The manufacturer refuses to give me any information since the warranty has expired. =(

any tips or advice would be really greatly appreciated, I tried finding a repair manual for it but was unable to, can't find the Italian manufacturer of the fridge either.
