You have to determine if the compressor is running.
You should be able to hear it also feel it vibrating and it should be warm.
If it is running then it is not the start device.
If it is not running then something may have just come loose.

If the compressor is running, you may want to let it sit unplugged for 24 hours or so give it another try.
Can never tell you may get lucky.

Some one said it could be a relay attached to the compressor

You did not leave it upright long enough for the oil to drain out of the capillary tube. Fortunately, this is a relatively easy repair. The system will need to be vacuumed, the capillary cut, the oil forced out, then re-charged.

Refrigerator stopped cooling when we transported it on its side. We plugged it in for a while and would not cool so we unplugged it.
