Possible there is a small crack in the plastic body and it leaks only when the ice maker or the water dispenser call for water, causing the increase of the pressure inside.

I have no issues making ice or getting water. It just randomly, maybe once a day, has water at the bottom of the frigerator and when I look its coming from the back where this (see attached PDF) valve is. If you see my arrow within the circle which looks like my valve, when I opened the back panel, this "open" connection has water in it and appears to be "overflowing" and causing the water collection on my floor. All connections seem to be ok. Besides what is this open area for and why is water up there overflowing. Does water usualy hang out in this area? The way I see it it has to be coming from this opening based on what is wet when i look back there, the whole valve around it is wet, and the tubes are dry. But as far as I know this opening has always been there. Its not like a cap, or hose is no longer connected. Only thing i could think of is it is somehow backing up and that hole is meant to be opened, but when it backs up it overflows, I dont know. Do you have any input on any of these things I have deduced??

I'm afraid I did not get clear where exactly the water is leaking from, but if it's leaking not from the tubes then the water inlet valve has to be replaced. It's not repairable.

I opened the back panel to view the inlet valve. It appears water is basically overflowing from an opening in the top of the valve. It appears a piece, or cover is missing but I doubt that is the case. Could there be another reason why the water is leaking out of this opening in the water valve??

Thanks in advance
