Recently, our LG range (model #LSC5683WS) was not coming to temp, then fully stopped baking. I replaced the internal hidden bake element (which was definitely the culprit and fried something fierce).

But since replacing the element, the oven heats properly initially, and seems to cycle on and off and holding the preheat temperature for maybe 30 minutes before it overheats. The temperature on the oven itself still indicates whatever temp I had preset (E.g. 350f), but the dial oven thermometer hanging inside the oven is reading 500F+.

My guess from reading other posts is that if it's not the temp sensor/probe it may be the relay board. Just hoping to get any other ideas before I purchase anymore parts.
