Replaced lower oven temp probe - oven still does not work.

Removed lower oven heating element:

It measured 17 ohms - what is the correct resistance amount?

Thanks,
Jim Craig

After running the "self clean" cycle on the lower oven - it does not work - it does not get hot at all.

Upper oven works fine.

Removed oven temperature sensor, checking it for continuity with a meter. Temp sensor measured 1071 ohms - within specs according to manufacturer.

This seems to be a relatively common problem with this range. Others have mentioned a possible "control board" problem - but would that not also affect the upper oven (which still works fine).

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jim Craig
