I tried the broiler and it works. The convectional and regular baking does not work. I appreciate your help.

what cooking program were you using ? Were you using convection or standard conventional bake ? whatever program you were using, try using the other program.. Also, see if broil works ?

I was cooking a roast yesterday in my upper oven and my daughter said she heard a sizzling sound and a small popping noise coming from the oven. When I returned home and checked it 20 minutes later, the roast was somewhat cool to the touch. The oven was no longer heating up. Is it possible that the element went out? If so, can I repair it myself by ordering an element? Thank you for your help.
