I have a Frigidaire Professional Series model plef398ccd. After using normally last night, I turned of the burner (front right dual) but the center element remained on high. I had to pull the plug to shut it off. I happened to have a spare control board and pot to swap in and out but it doesn't fix the issue. I have swapped both the pots and boards to the left side and the problem remains on the right. Is it now likely that the element itself is bad? Also, I have come to find out there was a recall on this model but repair and parts are no longer available. They do offer a refund of 40% if you purchase a new range though. I'd just as soon fix the one I have though. Thanks!
