Here are your parts
Replacement parts for JENN-AIR JJW9630DDS WALLOVEN- S/C ELE | AppliancePartsPros.com

If the doors are the same try swapping them. Then you will know if the problem is with a hinge in the door or with the receiver in the oven.

See the attachment for a bulletin on doors and this unit.

Thanks Denman,

I pulled off the Door as listed on the sheet. After putting it back on the oven it has the same issue. The door is getting resistance even before it gets to the oven lock, which is about where it was before. If I force the door closed, I do hear a slight metal on metal scraping which sounds like might be coming from the hook area, but I dont think that is what is blocking me. The door just pushes back to where it was once I release pressure

Thanks,
Mike

Here is the install sheet.
https://www.maytag.com/digitalas...ns%20-%208101P602-60.pdf

It has info on how to remove and re-install the door.
I would try that as often the hinge has just slipped off the receiver.

Also check that the oven lock is not stopping the door from closing.

Hello, I have seen this issue mentioned a bunch of times, and it seems like everyone says it is an issue with the hinge and hinge receptacle.

I have a double wall oven model JJW9630DDS. One of the oven doors will not close all the way and you can see into the oven (and it doesnt even hit the light switch). I have seen mention of a technical bulletin, but I never seem to be able to see the bulletin.

Can someone point me in the correct direction on what I need to fix this issue?

Thanks for your help in advance
