You are welcome.

And thanks for getting back to us. Now when others search for a similar problem they will see what actually worked instead of just suggestions about what could be the cause.

The 629 does tell us that it was made by Maytag.

When I look up fault codes the most common F3 for Maytags is an oven sensor problem so that is where I would start. Perhaps you did not get the plug seated correctly on the new control board.

Here is a link, check out 7, 8, 20 and 21.

I recently wrote about a problem with the oven control. There was no response to the up arrow touch pad for the oven and broiler temp control. When the oven temp is pushed the display read 000. When the oven temp up arrow was pushed nothing happened. Push the down arrow is pushed the temp read 350. from this point I could decrease the temp but not increase. Similarly pressing the broil button the display showed 000. Press the up arrow and no response. Press the down arrow and the display reads LO broil.

I was advised to replace the clock part 12001607 . Ordered from you folks and got terrific response (two days). Just installed it and when I touch the oven temp or broil buttons I get an F3 error message. Have tried turning off the power and restarting several times and continue to get the F3 message.

Would appreciate any thoughts you might offfer.
