Sounds like the thermister. Same thing happened to me and I got the wiring diagram located the thermister and checked it with a continuity meter and it read open (bad). I ordered the new part got it within a couple of days and replaced it. Everything works fine now.

Bob,

Pull the range, remove the back cover and locate the thermal switch and the oven TOD. Check both parts for continuity. Replace any of them if it's open.

My wife ran the auto self clean and when it finished it beeped once and the display panel went blank and the oven door remained locked. I have powe to range as the top burner ignite and light. How do I unlock the door and what could be my problem with the display panel? I pressed the puttons nothing happens.
