The first thing I would check is 240V at the power outlet (120V between any hot and neutral and 240V between two hot). If there is no 240V then check the circuit breakers. If there is 240V then remove the rear cover from the dryer and check the thermal fuse for continuity (#23 on the break down diagram). If the thermal fuse is open - it has to be replaced together with the cycling thermostat (#24 on the break down diagram). - The part number for the thermal fuse is AP3132867 - The part number for the cycling thermostat is AP3115922 Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool dryer Model LER3624EQ1Gene.
