If the drum turns OK and you have proper electric power coming into the terminal block you most likely have a damaged or a broken wire in the heating coil. You will need to get a multimeter to test this item. Other items in the circuits may be a problem but on an electric dryer the heating coil failure is the most common problem. If you are not familiar with the wiring in an electric dryer you need to find someone who is or call a repair tech.

Just brought the dryer today...will not heat up. Any ideas?
