Here are your parts
Parts for Samsung DV203AEW/XAA-0000 / Dryer - AppliancePartsPros.com

I cannot find any tech info on this unit.
Take a look inside the unit for a tech sheet/wiring diagram.

Below is a manual for a different unit but it may at least give you a clue as to how Samsung does things.
You will have to join the site and be logged in to be able to download it.
Note that there is info on other Samsung units in the Manuals section of the site.

The manual does show a E5 error as a temperature control error.
Note that the E they show is missing the to horizontal line.

I would start by disconnecting the unit from the vent to see if you still get the error. If not then check/clean the vent.

Next I would check for a grounded element.
Unplug the unit and both wires at the heater.
Measure across the heater.
They are usually in the 8 to 12 ohm range.
Then check from each side of the heater to it's case.
Both should be infinite ohms.
If not the heater is grounded and should be replaced.
This can cause it to run unregulated.
