Here are your parts
Replacement parts for MAYTAG MDET446AYW DRYER- ELE | AppliancePartsPros.com

Check/clean your moisture sensor.
The machine may think that the clothes are still wet.

The way it works is that a voltage is applied to the 2 metal strips.
When moisture or dirt/residue is between the strips a current flows and the board senses this and continues to run.
Clean between the strips with a damp cloth and dry.
If this does not work try isopropyl alcohol, just be sure to let the vapors dissipate before trying it.

My dryer will not automatically shut off when in the sensor mode. What do you think the problem is?
