Sounds like the main circuit board is not working probably due to a stuck power relay. There is a repair shop in Carol Stream ,Illinois that sells rebuilt boards or will repair yours for a fee. the name is Core Centric Solutions and the phone number is 630 216 5000. Hope that helps

Medb400vq0 dryer. It was overheating and kind of melted some of my clothes. I replaced the three common parts from your website. Dryer will not start. I hear a click behind the control panel on the right side in the back. That happens when I push the start button. Please advise. Dan

The above model dryer with s/n 69092128GC Was replaced with a new one because it would not start or heat. All of the switches and wiring were checked and no problems were found. The panel would not light any buttons no matter what combination was used as mentioned in the troubleshooting sheet. I used a jumper wire to bypass the motor relay while the wire terminals were still connected. The motor turned on but no panel lights were turned on. I then put another jumper wire on the connectors for the gas relay with the wiring still connected and the gas valve solenoids turned on and heat was present as normal but again no panel lights turned on. I carefully inspected the circuit board but no problems were noted to any of the capacitors or resistors which is common to this Neptune model for the washers and its control panel. The dryer is in excellent clean condition and no other significant problems were found . Can anyone provide any advice as to the cause of the problem before I spend a ton of money for a new/rebuilt circuit board. ?
