Quick update: I also replaced the the cut off thermal fuse. I still have the problem with the gas valve opening only for a few seconds. When the igniter shuts off so does the gas valve. I'm at a loss here guys! Can I get some HELP! My wife is threatening to send me to the laundromat.

I have a Maytag LDG8616AAE that won't heat correctly. I've read most of the previous postings and replaced the coils, cycling thermostat, high limit thermostat, thermal sensor, and igniter.

The igniter heats up the gas vale opens and I have a flame for about 10 seconds, as soon as the igniter stops heating the flame goes out. The dryer will continue to run, but it takes a long time for the flame to reignite, if at all. What should I be looking at?
