I would pull the dishwasher and check the sidewinder motor to verify that's the source of the noise. If so, replace it AP3799654

My quiet dishwasher has developed a rather loud "hum" while washing. Not while filling or discharging water. The unit was very quiet when first installed. It appears that the only part that would be causing the noise is the electric motor. Is the only repair to replace the motor?
