Although the lights will light on the buttons, my Kitchen Aid dishwasher won't start unless we flip the breaker switch. In addition, if it is running and I open the door it will continue to operate w/ water going everywhere.

If it was 10 years old I wouldn't bother, but it's only 3 years old and I'd like to see if there's a solution before replacing.
