Here are your parts
Parts for GE PDW9980N00SS Dishwasher - AppliancePartsPros.com

You can click on a part's picture or description in the listing and often a new page will open with a Q&A section that may help.
Try The Coarse Filter (Item 502 in the Motor-pump Mechanism section), that should get you to the sump.

I have a 5 year old GE Profile SS dishwasher model number PDW9980N00SS. It's worked well for the last five years but this morning I noticed the bottom of the ss tub was full of water. Tried running it again and the same thing. I removed the lower wash arm as I read in a fe other threads but still no luck. Do I need to pull the unit out to access the sump?

Thanks for any help...
