Try a cold water wash and see if it cycles properly. If it only stalls on hot wash then it is most likely the thermostats unless the element is bad. If it stalls on both its probably the timer.

OK.
I think it is sticking because of high temp. Can a heating element that is going bad cause this, or do I just need to replace the water temp sensor on the bottom of the unit?

If the heater is bad, does the pump still try to spray water, or does it just wait until the water is hot enough?

Frigidaire Dishwasher

I'm guessing it has to do with the heating element or thermostat. Where is the thermostat located? Will anything else cause a dishwasher for run for extended periods of time? It ran for a full day once. Stuck timer?

Can someone give me the tech sheet (Gene)?

What is the sequence of operation supposed to be?

-Is the heat cycle supposed to come on in the pre rinse cycle?
