during pump out water leak from top center under drum. Doesn't seem to leak during wash cycle. Is there a seal there and how do i get to it, do i need any specialty tools?

Go to web site www.applianceaid.com for info on the tub bearing/seal replacement on this dependable care washer. You can use vice grips to take out and put back the springs, no need to buy the special tool.
You must replace the sleeve bearing also. I pound the old one out with a steel rod.
