Trying to help mother-in-law with washer problem. washer stops after wash cycle when drum is full of soapy water and will not drain or go to spin cycle. Have put in new timer and that did not correct the problem. Any suggestions?W

If motor fails to run/hum during spin, you have a bad lid switch AP3100003
