Model Number: W20HN2 Brand: Magic Chef Age: 5 - 10 years
The washer will fill with water and agitate but when it gets to the spin/drain cycle it keeps agitating. If I lift the lid and close the lid it notices that it should be spinning/draining and corrects itself. But recently it has been stopping when it gets to the spin cycle leaving the cloths soaking. If I unplug the unit and wait a while I can plug it back in it will spin/drain and then agitate until the next spin cycle where it would either stop or just skip the cycle all together. I tested the lid switch with a ohm meter and it's fine. It is a direct drive washer. Could this be just a timer issue? I want to make sure that it is before I pay $90-$120 for a replacement. Could it be something else?
