The "Speed Indication error" comes up in the LCD screen.
I read a post somewhere that indicated that this error was due to a communication problem between the motor and it's control board and one or both could be bad. I was wondering if you could suggest how to isolate which might be bad?
As a bit of background, the washer was leaking a bit and I pulled the front off and found one of the wires powering the heating element had burned in 2 and had melted a leak in the little drain hose in front of it. I have replaced the hose and have a new element to put in but haven't yet. I was wondering if this could have had any influence on the speed indication error problem? There is a wiring harness that passes thru this area but it doesn't look damaged.
I appreciate any advice you can provide in advance. Thanks
