I have a Kenmore washer and recently it stopped rinsing/draining. I was able to get it to rinse by moving the dial ahead and I could get it to drain by opening the lid and hitting it! lol

Today though it stopped draining no matter how many times I hit the darn thing. From reading other threads I believe it is the lid switch. I used a screwdiver to push the lid switch down and the washer rinsed/drained. I have found directions for how to replace the lid switch but they were for a Whirlpool washer.

Would the directions be the same for a Kenmore washer? If not, does anyone know where I can find them and also where would I find a replacement lid switch? Thanks!
